This site has faced a great problem with censorship as of late and I belive that I speak for many when I address this concern.
It is understandable that censorship needs to be enforced to a certain degree but lately it has seen ludicrous extremes.

Yesterday, a few posters of mine were deleted for no apparent reason. The guidelines state that "nudity and/or sexual content" will not be permitted. My posters reflected IMPLIED nudity that did not feature anything full frontal. The pics were equal to the kind one would find in a Maxim magazine that could be found in any supermarket.

Today a poster appeared on the site that featured nudity and looking back at several posters I realize that several others like this still exist on the site. Why the double standard?

This comes across as ludicrous and silly and makes it impossible to feel comfortable conforming to a set of rules that seems bent on contradiction. It is understandable that one would not wish the site was filled with vulgarity and hate but that just was not the case of my and several fellow posters. A picture of a beautiful woman is certainly far less offensive than the many posters that exist on the site that practice hate and religious and racial discrimination ,yet those remain. As do the posters that depict violence. How is violence allowed and not sex? I find this as a whole entirely confusing.

The site does not seem to have a grasp on it's main demographic. "Work friendly" is cited often on this site but it is clear by the type of humor presented that the aim is more centered on the college level rather than that of the office. This entire site has more associated with the several college humor websites that populate the internet than anything else.

My suggestion would be to further the freedom of the site's posters is to offer a "NON-work friendly" section that focuses on more taboo subject matter and the ever popular "soft core porn" posters(which is really what they are not) and end the debacle.

If more this is granted more freedom will be offered and more diversity would follow from the posters who wish to contribute and keep this site interesting and fun. Just because one believes these posters inappropiate or offensive that does by no means represent a majority.

This site is one of the most interesting and creative that the internet has to offer. Hopefully this problem will be addressed more fully and more freedom will be allowed for posters in the future.
